Brown Bag History Series: Living & Dying with Great Plains Rivers

This presentation, by Todd Kerstetter, will examine how people have dealt with flooding in the Elkhorn and Platte river basins and how the nature of flooding disasters has changed over time. Todd teaches at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

You are invited to the continuing “Brown Bag” series, hosted by the library, in partnership with the UNK History Department and Nebraska State Historical Society. Feel free to bring your lunch with you. Snacks and beverages are provided.
