We invite preschoolers, parents, and caregivers to a special storytime event. Firefighters from the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department will read stories about fire safety and then demonstrate what they wear in a fire.

This demonstration helps children understand that they don’t need to fear firefighters and that they shouldn’t hide from them in an emergency.
