Free Oral Cancer Screening

FreeApril is Oral Cancer Awarness Month. Heartland Oral Surgery and Dental Implants have partnered with local Dentist as well as Hy-Vee to host a “No-Cost” screening opened to the public.
According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, oral cancer will cause more than 9,750 deaths this year alone. The death rate in oral cancer is typically high because it’s found late in the development. HPV also known as the human papilloma virus has also been linked to oral cancer. HPV is a virus that infects over 40 million Americans.
This cost- Free event , which is open to the public, takes place Saturday April 27th, 10am to 2pm in the Hy-Vee parking lot(Kearney N.E).No appointments are necessary. The entire process, minus any waiting time, should take no longer than 10 minutes The staff of heartland oral surgery will be facilitating event with two board certified oral surgeons on hand for each evaluation. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this event , and help spread awareness of oral cancer.
