Heritage Day
June 3, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 pm
Heritage Day has become a traditional “kick-off to summer” celebration for Kearney residents. The focus of Heritage Day is to build on family unity and community togetherness, recognize park contributors, as well as to provide a formal opportunity to “cut the ribbon” on new features at Yanney Park. Last year, “Heritage Day”, drew an estimated 2,500 people. Some of the activities this year include: Sue Bush Memorial 5K Run/Walk, Storybook Walk, Family Fishing Day, giant inflatables for the kids, Cabela’s Kayak Test Drives, Crane River Theatre performances, paddle-boating, Bungee Trampolines and several concession/food vendors. Additionally, we have an outstanding schedule of musical entertainment, and as always, will conclude the night with an incredible fireworks finale’!
This year’s music entertainment headliner is Judd Hoos!
