2. Public Skate
Beat the heat on the ice at the Viaero Event Center!
Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, spend the afternoon ice skating with friends and family. Don’t have any skates? Don’t let that stop you – rentals are available.
$7 for kids, students with ID, military and seniors.
$10 for adults.

3. Roadway Heroes
Saturday, August 11, 10:00am-12:30pm, Buffalo County Fairgrounds
Roadway Heroes gives children a unique opportunity to meet community helpers and see their favorite vehicles up close! Enjoy fun activity stations and meet the people that help keep our communities safe and running smoothly.
This event is complete with LOUD NOISES!

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Nebraska’s only Drag Strip!
With several events happening from now through November, you have plenty of chances for all the excitement! Admission is only $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, FREE for 5 and under.
Enter the race yourself, or be a spectator! Family-friendly environment with many memories to be made!

6. Outdoor Movie: MOANA
Saturday, August 11, 7:00pm at Yanney Park
Enjoy a FREE movie in the most-talked about park in Kearney! The film begins at sundown, making it the perfect time for an evening of family fun. Kid’s activities will also be available.
Yanney Heritage Park includes a Splash Pad, picnic areas and shelters, fishing, paddle boats, walking trails and more!
