Coming Soon to Younes Landing 

There’s always something going on at the Younes Campus in Kearney—but lately, the buzz is all about Younes Landing, a brand-new development taking shape just north of I-80.

This project will bring nine new restaurants and bars, plus additional locally owned businesses and entertainment—all with lakeside views. From ramen and wine to German dishes and Nebraska craft beer, the lineup promises to deliver fresh flavors, new experiences, and plenty of reasons to gather for both the community and visitors.

Younes Landing joins other exciting additions to the campus include the Kearney Welcome Center (hi, that’s us!), Kearney SportsPlex, and the Tru by Hilton/Homes2 Suites hotel located on the west side of the lake—just across the water from Kearney staple Cunningham’s on the Lake.


Sip & Swirl Wine Bar

Sip & Swirl is a refined wine bar now open in Kearney, Nebraska, offering a welcoming space for relaxed evenings, meaningful conversations, and discovering great wine. With thoughtfully selected pours and a warm, intimate atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot for date nights, catching up with friends, or small gatherings. There are around 25 different worldly wines on the menu as of now, featuring wines from Chile to Argentina, France and Italy, and those options will likely grow over time. If a malbec, Chianti, or chardonnay is not the right flavor for you, they have a few beers available as well.

Sip & Swirl will also host special events such as wine tastings and educational classes throughout the year. Follow along to stay up to date on upcoming events and experiences.

Kinkaider Brewing Co.

Kinkaider Brewing Co., founded in Broken Bow in 2014, is officially open in Kearney. With popular locations in Lincoln, Omaha, and Broken Bow, Kinkaider has become one of Nebraska’s most recognized craft breweries. At Younes Landing, guests can look forward to a wide lineup of their Nebraska-brewed beers alongside Sideshow Spirits cocktails and tasty eats in a brand-new taproom.

Bierhaus Maisschäler

NOW OPEN

Right next door is Kinkaider’s sister concept, Bierhaus Maisschäler. This Old World-inspired pub features sausage rolls, pretzels, schnitzel, and an impressive list of German and European import biers. With its first location in Lincoln, Kearney is now the second Bierhaus in Nebraska.

When visiting Bierhaus Maisschäler or Kinkaider, guests have access to both menus, offering a shared selection of food and beer options. Highlights include unique sharables like the Worldfare Platter, loaded with brats, Irish nachos, Scotch eggs, a giant Yad Brezeln pretzel, frites, pickled sides, and house-made sauces, or the always-popular Yad Brezeln (that’s a giant pretzel), perfect for sharing.

Jimmy John’s

A familiar favorite is joining the mix, bringing fast, fresh sandwiches to the area. Jimmy John’s is known nationwide for its speedy service and classic subs—making it an easy go-to for lunch, dinner, or meals on the move. Opening details will be announced soon.

Tasty Bowl

Tasty Bowl is redefining modern dining with a bold blend of culinary innovation and technology. As one of the most technologically advanced restaurant concepts in the region, Tasty Bowl integrates robotic technology to streamline kitchen operations, reduce staffing needs, and consistently deliver high-quality dishes.

The Kearney location is expected to be similar to other Tasty Bowl restaurants, offering stir-fry, ramen, and bubble tea—a fast-casual concept that combines efficiency, consistency, and bold flavors in a fun, modern setting.


The Drop Zone

Adding even more variety, The Drop Zone will bring a totally new entertainment experience to Younes Landing. Plans include 32 golf bays, an 18-hole outdoor putting course, arcade games, a full bar and restaurant, and outdoor pickleball courts. Perfect for family outings, date nights, or group gatherings.

Also on the Horizon: Texas T-Bone Steakhouse

Construction is underway on a stand-alone Texas T-Bone Steakhouse, with plans to open by early fall. Texas T-Bone has been serving classic steakhouse fare since 1996, when its Grand Island location opened as the second restaurant in the chain, which was originally founded in Colorado Springs in 1994.

Owner Lopez plans to bring the same hearty menu Kearney diners know and love. Offerings include T-bone, ribeye, New York strip, sirloin, and filet mignon, along with create-your-own salads, homemade coleslaw, burgers, sandwiches, barbecue, and a wide selection of appetizers.


Along with these exciting restaurants and attractions, Younes Landing will feature outdoor gathering spaces and other businesses still to be announced. The Younes Campus is already known for its outstanding hotels, restaurants, and shopping—and now it’s only getting better!
