Henrietta Solway
January 26, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 pm
Henrietta Solway is a new, original story inspired by Nebraska author Willa Cather’s most ambitious and vibrant characters and stories from across her career. Written and performed by Animal Engine Theater, this work is performed with just three actors portraying more than 60 different characters. They create the sights and sounds of small town Nebraska, Coney Island, and the Mesa with minimal props, music, and costuming. This work was commissioned by the National Willa Cather Center in Red Cloud.
This performance is free and open to the public. This program is presented with support from Humanities Nebraska.
