The Kickin’ Bricks Art Festival is a new juried high art and fine craft festival coming to Kearney on June 6, 2026, at the Merryman Performing Arts Center.

The Brickwalk Collective Art Club along with the Merryman Performing Arts Center in Kearney Nebraska is excited to bring the Kickin’ Bricks Arts Festival to Kearney. With Kearney’s recent designation as one of the top 100 most arts-vibrant U.S. communities, we are seeking to continue to promote that distinction with the Kickin’ Bricks Arts Festival. Quality Art and Food Trucks will make this a don’t miss event. The Festival is open to 40 artists and is free to the public. Plan to join us June 6th at 9am-5pm for the first Annual Festival on the Merryman Performing Art Center’s grounds.

Hosted in Kearney’s Downtown Bricks Creative District, Kickin’ Bricks brings together accomplished artists working in high art and fine craft disciplines for a one-day outdoor festival experience. The event features spacious booths, strong visibility, and easy load-in and load-out for artists, while offering visitors a vibrant, walkable arts destination.

Kickin’ Bricks takes place alongside several major community events happening throughout Kearney the same day, drawing visitors from across Nebraska and contributing to a lively festival atmosphere citywide.

The festival is hosted by the Brickwalk Project and is designed to be artist-focused, professionally organized, and community-centered.
