Join Kevin McGregor, Chairman of the Gibbon Heritage Center Board, and Jean Widdowson, Gibbon Heritage Center Board Member, for a fascinating look at the history of Gibbon’s Fourth of July celebrations. From the community’s earliest gatherings in 1871 to the festivities of today, this presentation explores how traditions have grown, changed, and endured over more than 150 years. Discover the stories, people, and patriotic spirit that have shaped Gibbon’s Independence Day from 1871 through 2026.
