Pedaling the Past

September 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

One of the best ways to explore local history is on a bike.

Join UNK faculty members David Vail and Will Stoutamire on an informational and enjoyable ride along a popular hike-bike trail while learning more about Kearney history.

“Pedaling the Past” takes participants from Yanney Park to Cottonmill Park and back, with several stops along the 8-mile route to discuss points of interest and the city’s early development.

“Pedaling the Past” tours are free, with a limit of 30 cyclists per three-hour session. They’re open to anyone interested in biking and local history, with each participant receiving a T-shirt.

Register Here.
