
Open since 1953, Pioneer Village is one of a kind. Located 21 miles south of Kearney, it hosts one of the nation’s best planned and most comprehensive collections of Americana, covering the period from 1830 to the present. Often referred to as the “Smithsonian of the Plains” the museum houses more than 50,000 historical objects in twenty-six buildings. It also includes a gift shop.
The Pioneer Village RV Park and Campground hosts over 45 sites many of which are shaded and available with 50-amp electrical hookups as well as numerous 30-amp electrical hookups along with primitive campsites. Sewer is available at some sites. Pull through and back in sites allow you to choose the best site for your needs. Free WiFi is available.
