The Great 250 Treasure Hunt invites you to explore Kearney and beyond in search of limited-edition, handmade glass keepsakes hidden throughout the area. Each find is yours to keep, a lasting piece of America 250. It’s a chance to explore, connect, and be part of a historic moment shared across the country!

How It Works

From June into September, handcrafted glass keepsakes made by the UNK Glass Club will be hidden at outdoor and indoor locations across Kearney and Buffalo County.

When you find one:

  • Scan the QR code to mark it as found
  • Snap a photo and share your discovery
  • Take it home – it’s yours to keep!

New keepsakes will be hidden each week, so the hunt is always on. Locations will be announced soon.
