Acclaimed Poet Nicole Sealey Reads

Nationally acclaimed poet Nicole Sealey reads her dynamic poetry, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
Nicole Sealey’s book Ordinary Beast is energetic, fun, serious, and surprising. The U.S. poet laureate called it “stunning” and describes Sealey as a “poet for the ages.” You can hear Sealey’s great reading voice on The New Yorker’s website.
Sealey teaches at Boston University and is the Doris Lippman Visiting Poet at The City College of New York. She is the executive director of Cave Canem, a national association of African-American poets.
