Once a month, homeschool students can come out and explore nature with staff and volunteers at Audubon's Rowe Sanctuary. All grades Kindergarten and older are welcome to attend. Come search for monarch butterflies as they embark on their southward journey to Mexico. Learn all about their life cycle and how they are able to travel such a long way in the fall. Live reptiles will be brought by Nebraska Wildlife Encounter Zoozeum so participants can get to know more about our scaly friends. Come over to the dark side of Audubon’s Rowe Sanctuary and meet the amazing critters that make their living at night. This Owl Prowl offers an exciting multi-generational opportunity to learn more about the fascinating lives of owls and other animals that thrive at night. Fontenelle Forest will be bringing live owls for participants to see up close and learn more about.
